Wrexham manager Dean Saunders says that they can take nothing for granted in Saturday's FA Cup first-round match.
The Blue Square Premier side are at home against Lowestoft Town, who play in Ryman League Division One North.
"We're not going to take this lightly at all, it's got to be all hands to the pumps," Saunders told BBC Sport Wales.
"We're on a good run, we've proved we can play against all the top teams, we've outplayed them all and we've got to take that into Saturday."
Wrexham are on a five-match unbeaten run and were only denied a league win at Kettering on Tuesday when the Welsh side conceded a penalty in the sixth minute of injury time.
While the emphasis at the Racecourse Ground remains a return to the Football League - Wrexham are 10 points adrift of the play-off places - Saunders is looking forward to seeing his team live up to their favourites tag against Lowestoft.
"If we win this one the pressure might be on someone else in the next round against us," Saunders said.
"We're going to start from the first whistle and they're a physical team, similar to Halifax [who Wrexham beat 1-0 in the last qualifying round] and we're going to have to compete.
"What you can guarantee is that you've got the right attitude and if you're not playing well then you stop them playing well, which is what we have been doing.
"I've watched them, they're a decent team and I'm sure they're going to cause us problems.
"Sometimes these games can end up being easy games if you get your attitude right and score a couple of goals, and sometimes they can be real banana skins.
"We've not cracked anything and we're still not where I want us to be and we've got to keep improving."
Saunders is definitely without the services of Christian Smith, after the midfielder picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at Kettering.
But Hedi Taboubi is fit, while Frank Sinclair, Sam Russell, Matty Wolfenden and Sam Williamson are all close to a return to first-team action after injury.
