Brown suffered relegation from the League with Mansfield
Wrexham have made their second summer signing by bringing in Mansfield Town striker Simon Brown on a free transfer.
Brown, 25, started his career as a trainee at West Brom, but never broke into the first team.
He spent time on loan at Kidderminster in 2004 before breaking his leg and later joined Mansfield for £50,000.
Brown scored 21 goals from 76 league starts in four years at Field Mill but could not save them from joining Wrexham in the Blue Square Premier.
Last month, Accrington Stanley midfielder Paul Carden became Wrexham's first signing of the summer as they look to bounce back into the Football League at the first attempt.
