Smith feels he finally has a solid base to move forward

Having finally escaped administration, Wrexham manager Denis Smith feels he can take the side to the Championship.
"It's about moving the club from League Two to the Championship in the shortest possible time," Smith told BBC Sport.
"People will want a time scale, but it has to be done without wrecking the club and putting it in danger again.
"We've a good youth policy, training facilities and ground and now have the right people on the board. That's a stable base to build and move forward."

Long-serving midfielder and former club captain Darren Ferguson is also looking forward to brighter days at the Racecourse.
"It's been a long wait and the club has been through dire straits, but thank goodness it's all over," the 34-year-old told BBC Sport Wales.
"We need consistency and to start the season well. I'll be trying to enjoy it and hopefully we can get promotion."
