Wolves have signed Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara on loan for the remainder of the season.

O'Hara, 24, was in the stands to watch Wolves' 1-0 defeat by Stoke in Sunday's FA Cup tie after undergoing a medical.

Last season the midfielder went on loan to Portsmouth, but he has not featured at first-team level at White Hart Lane this season because of a back injury.

West Ham had also been interested in signing former England Under-21 international O'Hara.

The midfielder was member of the Pompey team that lost 1-0 to Chelsea in last season's FA Cup final.

He recently played in two practice games for Spurs.

"Need to go on loan to get some games," O'Hara said on Twitter. "[I have] missed too much already this season so I want to be playing every week."
