Wolves midfielder Karl Henry has signed a new four-year deal as the Molineux side prepare for their return to the Premier League.

The 26-year-old only missed three league games as Mick McCarthy's side stormed to the Championship title.

Henry, who joined from Stoke in 2006, had two years left on his current deal.

McCarthy told the club's website: "Like all of the players, he has earned the right to play in the top division and deserves his chance."
