Wolves have announced that Rupert Hayward and Kevin Threlfall have resigned from the Molineux board.
Hayward is the grandson of club president and former owner Sir Jack Hayward, while Threlfall has been on the board since 2006.
"Rupert and Kevin have both made important contributions to Wolves," chairman Steve Morgan told the club's official website.
"We fully understand their reasons for leaving and we wish them the best."
Hayward revealed a heavy work-load had forced his hand:
"Unfortunately, my work commitments involve me spending a considerable amount of time in Eastern Europe. I therefore I can't dedicate the time that the role demands."
Threlfall said: "Sir Jack initially asked me to help form a new board and to help identify and ensure a seamless hand over to prospective new ownership."
