Bull's Stafford will face Wolves

Bull scored 306 goals in 13 years at Wolves

Wolves legend Steve Bull is to take on his former club as his Stafford Rangers prepare to take on the Championship team in a pre-season friendly.

The teams will meet at the Blue Square North club's Marston Road on 5 August.

Bull became Stafford's manager last season but they were relegated from the Blue Square Premier.

"Wolves are still very close to my heart and it will be strange to be in opposition to them," he told Wolves' official website.

He continued: "But I'm really looking forward to it. I'd like to thank Wolves in advance for agreeing to send a team to Stafford.

"My intention is to get us back up into the Blue Square Premier and this should be an excellent work out for us ahead of the new season."
