Championship side Wolves have appointed former Sunderland manager Mick McCarthy as their new boss.
The 47-year-old will take over from caretaker-manager Stuart Gray on Monday when he will be officially unveiled.
"I'm delighted to be joining Wolves," McCarthy told the club's website. "There is a big job to do at Molineux and I'm relishing the challenge.
"I can't wait to get to work. With two weeks to go to the new season there is lots to do and it'll be a busy time."
McCarthy replaces Glenn Hoddle in the Wolves hotseat after the former England manager resigned three weeks ago.
McCarthy, who was Republic of Ireland boss from 1996 until 2002, parted company with Sunderland in March with the club bottom of the Premiership.

He had joined the Black Cats in March 2003 and led them to promotion two years later, only for their top-flight campaign to turn sour.
McCarthy has signed a 12-month rolling contract at Wolves as the Midlands club aims to challenge for promotion.
Chief executive Jez Moxey added: "We are thrilled to have agreed a deal for Mick to take over as manager of Wolves.
"He has all the qualities we were looking for in a manager and has an excellent record of football achievement.
"The job he did at Sunderland in finishing third in the Championship after relegation then winning the league was one of the most impressive managerial jobs I have seen in this division."
