Wolves have managed to secure Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone's services until 21 January.
And talks are ongoing between the two clubs so the 19-year-old can stay at Molineux until the end of the season.
Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle is hoping he will be able to keep the youngster.
"Unless they get a batch of injuries or they sell two or three midfielders, there's a chance he could stay with us, he told the Express and Star.
He is unavailable for the FA Cup game with Plymouth but, after his original loan finished on Monday, he can now face Luton and Millwall.
Huddlestone has not featured for Tottenham since his £2.5m move from Derby in July.
Hoddle has also extended goalkeeper Paul Harrison's short-term deal until 24 January.
