Jones hails hungry Wolves
Dave Jones
Wolves boss Dave Jones Dave hailed another defiant display by his side as they snatched a dramatic last-minute equaliser to deny Liverpool.

Kenny Miller, who scored the winner against Manchester United on Saturday, was again on target.

"Everybody did their jobs again, just as they did on Saturday," said Jones. "I do not care what is said about us. I know that my players give their all, and our fans see that.

"We certainly earned that point and We could have caused them more damage."

Jones said that Liverpool failed to punish and kill off his side when they had the chance.

"We were not frightened of them, we respected them, but still battled every inch against what I consider to be a very good side.

"You cannot show any fear. The last two games we have played against two top sides and gave them a game."

"We have a long, long way to go, we know that. We have to sustain it. But when you are on a roll you have something special, and we must keep that going," added Jones.

"It reminded me of the final stages of last season when we got to the play-off final. That camaraderie you cannot buy. We did not deserve to lose that one."
