Former England star Paul Gascoigne is training with Wolves in an attempt to improve his fitness.
The 36-year-old approached Wolves boss Dave Jones to ask if he could join in and get himself fit.
Jones said: "He wants to get himself fit and find a club. We said we were happy to help him out."
Gascoigne's last club was Chinese League B team Gansu Tianma and he was expected to sign for a team in the Middle East.
Jones added: "Paul approached us and asked if he could come along to training."
Former Newcastle, Tottenham, Lazio,
Rangers, Middlesbrough and Everton star Gascoigne joined in at Wolves' Compton training ground on Thursday.
He said: "I just wanted to get match fit and I'm enjoying the
training. The opportunity came along to train with a Premiership team, which I
never thought would happen a year ago.
"I can train very hard and do extra training with the fitness coach and then
look at it from there."
Gascoigne has been considering a move to Third Division Darlington.
