Halle heads for Wolves
![]() Halle joined Bradford from Leeds United in 1999
Dave Jones has further strengthened his squad for Wolves' final push for the Premiership with the capture of Bradford City defender Gunnar Halle.
Former Leeds and Oldham full-back follows £1m man Kevin Cooper and on-loan Leicester City defender Jacob Laursen into Molineux. Halle, who joined Bradford from Leeds for £200,000 in June 1999, has moved to Wolves on loan for the rest of the season. He said: "It has been something of a struggle at Bradford this season but they are almost safe now, which is why I think the chairman let me come here. "Now I've moved from one end of the table to the other and these are obviously exciting times at Wolves," the 36-year-old Norwegian international told Wolves' website. And he added: "Dave wanted me to come in and help and hopefully I can do my bit in giving the club that final push towards promotion." |
