Saudi given compassionate leave
Sami Al Jaber
Sami Al Jaber is yet to score for Wolves
Wolves striker Sami Al Jaber has been given compassionate leave to return home to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi international's 83-year-old father is seriously ill and Al Jaber will consequently miss the Christmas Eve game at Sheffield Wednesday.

Al Jaber, who is on a five-month loan move from Al Hilal, has only appeared in five matches since joining the club in mid-September.

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "We were very sorry to hear Sami's sad news and have agreed he should return home over the holiday period."
