Bayes has high hopes
New signing Ashley Bayes believes Woking have what it takes to fight for promotion next season.

The goalkeeper joined the club towards the end of the season and played a part in helping them avoid the threat of relegation.

He has signed a new deal to remain with the club and, despite last season's poor form, he is optimistic about next season.

"If we can get a good start next season then I think we have the players to do well," he told the club's website. "I have a good feeling about coming to Woking.

"The club has been very professional in the way that it has gone about things and the way that players are looked after.

"The crowd have been fantastic and I love a good atmosphere and the rapport has been brilliant.

"We've got a good squad here and it is amazing to think what the scenes would be like if we were pushing for promotion."
