Hammers complete Newton capture
Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has allowed midfielder Shaun Newton to join fellow Championship side West Ham.

Newton's deal with Wolves ran out at the end of the season and the Hammers will pay 10,000 for him, with an add-on of 115,000 - if promoted.

"He hasn't been in the first team in recent weeks and it is better for all parties if he can play somewhere else," Hoddle said of the 29-year-old.

"Shaun is a good pro and I'm sure he will do well for West Ham."
