Baggies to host Mallorca friendly

West Bromwich Albion

West Bromwich Albion will play Spanish side Real Mallorca in their final pre-season friendly of the summer.

The Baggies will host the visitors from La Liga on Saturday 9 August, a week before their trip to Arsenal on the opening day of the Premier League.

Mallorca finished seventh in the Primera division last season and have top scorer Daniel Guiza in their squad.

Albion begin their pre-season programme in July with a week's trip to the Netherlands, with games in Germany.
