Quinn heading for Albion exit
Northern Ireland international James Quinn
Quinn was a £500,000 signing from Blackpool
Striker James Quinn has been put on the transfer list after failing to hold down a first-team place at West Brom.

The Northern Ireland international has started just a handful of games for the First Division promotion hopefuls this season.

"There's nothing sinister in this," said Baggies boss Gary Megson.

"It's just that James is an international and he's not figuring in the side.

"We'll see if anybody out there fancies doing anything that suits all parties."

Quinn, 26, joined Albion in a £500,000 move from Blackpool in 1998 but has slipped down the pecking order behind Lee Hughes, Jason Roberts and Bob Taylor.

Meanwhile, West Brom are giving a trial to former Ipswich defender Manuel Thetis.

The 29-year-old Frenchman was released by the Premiership side earlier this season.
