Watford land Chelsea's Bridcutt

Liam Bridcutt
Bridcutt started six games for Yeovil during his time at Huish Park

New Watford boss Brendan Rodgers has returned to former club Chelsea to sign midfielder Liam Bridcutt on loan.

The 19-year-old will initially stay with the Hornets until 30 December.

Bridcutt signed professional terms at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2007 and is currently the Blues' reserve team captain.

The Reading-born player, who can also play at full-back, enjoyed a spell on loan with League One Yeovil Town last season, making nine appearances.
