Watford keen to keep Webber
Danny Webber has impressed since he arrived
Danny Webber has impressed since he arrived
Watford manager Ray Lewington is desperate to extend Danny Webber's loan deal after he impressed in the 5-2 win over Coventry.

The Manchester United striker, who scored as Gary McAllister's men were put to the sword at Vicarage Road, joined the Division One club on a three-month loan.

But Lewington wants to extend it until the end of the campaign.

He said: "Danny's come down from Manchester United and he has enthusiasm and a willingness to work. He's an absolute credit.

"If you put a year's loan on him it would put everyone else off and I'm hoping to do that."
