Walsall have signed Senegal international midfielder Alassane N'Dour until the end of the season.
Alassane N'Dour played for Senegal at the 2002 World Cup
"Allou is a player with a good pedigree and is someone I've been tracking for a while," said boss Richard Money.
"He's tall, athletic with a good left foot. He adds quality to our squad. I'm looking forward to working with him."
The 26-year-old had a brief taste of English football during a loan spell with West Bromwich Albion in 2003/04 when he made just three appearances.
Aside from that season under Gary Megson at The Hawthorns, N'Dour has played most of his career in France with St Etienne and FC Troyes.
He was also part of the Senegal squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea.
The Saddlers are waiting for international clearance to come through in order for N'Dour to make his debut in Saturday's game with Yeovil.
