Walsall have signed Republic of Ireland international midfielder Mark Kinsella.
Kinsella has made 48 appearances for the Republic of Ireland
Kinsella, 32 next month, has signed a two-year contract at the Bescot Stadium following his release by West Brom.
Saddlers boss Paul Merson said: "He had offers to go to other clubs higher up but he wanted to come here and we moved quickly to get his signature."
Walsall have also signed former FC Copenhagen defender Kofi Dakinah, 24, who has agreed a one-year deal after impressing during a trial spell.
And Merson revealed that he hopes to make another addition to his squad in the near future.
"We have another signing in the pipeline," he added. There is still a bit of work to be done but I am confident it will go through in the not too distant future."
