Walsall confirm Nicholl exit
Former Walsall manager Ray Graydon
Ray Graydon had appointed Chris Nicholl
Walsall have confirmed that first-team coach Chris Nicholl has left the club, following the sacking of Ray Graydon on Tuesday.

"I had an amiable meeting with Chris," Walsall's owner Jeff Bonsor told the club's official site.

"We discussed the situation and agreed that, since he had been appointed by Ray Graydon, and with new management coming into the club, it would be in the best interests of both parties for him to leave.

"We would like to thank Chris for his services, and wish him well for the future."

Walsall sacked manager Graydon in an attempt to revive the struggling club's fortunes.
