Gills' Cumbers joins Dons on loan

Cumbers is returning to the Dons for a second loan spell

AFC Wimbledon have signed Gillingham striker Luis Cumbers on a one-month loan, his second spell at the club.

The 21-year-old first went on loan to the Dons in the 2007/2008 season, helping them gain promotion to the Blue Square South.

Cumbers has since had successful short-term loan spells at Ebbsfleet United and Grays Athletic.

He joined Gillingham as a trainee in 2006 but has failed to establish himself in the first team.

The Gills have given Cumbers permission to play in AFC Wimbledon's FA Cup first-round game at Millwall on Monday, 9 November.
