Tranmere Rovers manager Ronnie Moore believes his side's poor display in the 1-0 defeat at Yeovil on Saturday was due to a flu epidemic among the squad.
A combination of illness and suspension saw a much changed Rovers' squad beaten by a Terry Skiverton strike.
"It's difficult when you have four players missing and two lads ill with the flu," he told BBC Radio Merseyside.
"We had another three on the bench who were struggling. We were close to trying to get the game put off."
