Tranmere manager Moore signs son
Tranmere Rovers
Tranmere boss Ronnie Moore has signed his son Ian Moore from Hartlepool - beating off interest from Oldham.

Moore junior, 31, began his career at Tranmere in 1994, and was recently transfer-listed by Pools.

The striker had agreed a move to Oldham and passed a medical there, but chose to rejoin Rovers at the last minute.

Meanwhile, Tranmere midfielder Paul Henry, 20, has joined Welsh Premier League side The New Saints on loan for the rest of the season.

Ian Moore scored 12 goals in 58 league appearances in his first spell at Prenton Park, before joining Nottingham Forest for 1m in 1997.
