Tranmere striker Gareth Taylor has been ruled out for six weeks with a fractured jaw.
The 33-year-old suffered the injury in the goalless draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend.
"He has been unfortunate and has two little cracks on the side of his jaw," Moore told Tranmere's website.
"The experts say he'll be out for six weeks. He's got a week of doing nothing to let it settle down, and then it's down to the lad when he plays."
