Dadi extends Tranmere stay
Eugene Dadi
Dadi joined Tranmere from Livingston last summer
Tranmere boss Brian Little has persuaded Eugene Dadi, last season's leading scorer, to sign a new two-year contract at Prenton Park.

The Ivory Coast international, 30, scored 19 goals in the 2003/4 campaign.

"Eugene gives us something different and it would have been a major blow had he not signed," Rovers manager Little told the club's website.

"He'll have learnt an awful lot from last season. Hopefully he can reproduce the form and the goals he scored."

Dadi spent two years in Scottish football with Livingston and Aberdeen before moving to the Wirral.

He will face competition for a place from new signing Calvin Zola and Iain Hume - and Simon Haworth when he recovers from the broken leg he suffered in January.
