Vega rejects Celtic's overtures
![]() Swiss international Vega in pre-season action at QPR
Tottenham's out-of-favour defender Ramon Vega has categorically ruled out a move to Celtic.
The versatile Swiss star has been targeted by Parkhead manager Martin O'Neill, but Vega insists he wants to stay in London. Hampered by injuries since joining the club three years ago, he is now fully fit and determined to win his place in George Graham's side back. Vega said: "I have shown this club a lot of loyalty since I've been here and now I hope they can do the same to me.
"I've been through everything and every emotion here, from struggling in the Premiership to winning the Worthington Cup. "I have a real passion for Tottenham and the club is like a family to me. I feel this is where I belong."
