Portuguese centre-back Ricardo Rocha has been released by Tottenham after his contract expired.
The 30-year-old signed for £3.3m in January 2007 from Benfica, where he won the Portuguese Cup and league title.
But he suffered an ankle injury and made only 18 appearances, his last against Bolton in September 2007.
Spurs have also released reserve-team players Simon Dawkins, Kyle Fraser-Allen, Danny Hutchins, David Hutton, Jacques Maghoma and Takura Mtandari.
Former coach Chris Hughton's son Cian, who played for the reserves, and academy players Saulo Asajile, Mark Clare, James Dalton and Ajet Shehu are also set to leave.
After a stuttering start to a season that saw Spurs dismiss manager Juande Ramos and bring in Harry Redknapp, Tottenham finished eighth in the Premier League and reached the Carling Cup final, where they lost on penalties to Manchester United.
