Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is keen to bring in a new goalkeeper during the January transfer window.
After a difficult start to the season, Brazilian Heurelho Gomes turned in an impressive display as Spurs drew 0-0 at home with Manchester United.
But Redknapp insisted he wanted to keep the Brazilian on his toes.
"If he can keep these performances up we haven't got a problem," said Redknapp. "But I'd like to bring in another keeper as cover."
After denying Ji-Sung Park and Cristiano Ronaldo, Gomes flung himself to his left to tip on to the bar a Ryan Giggs free-kick late in the last minute to ensure Spurs earned a point.
