Spurs manager Martin Jol was frustrated by the penalty decision that gave Chelsea the lead in their 2-0 win at White Hart Lane.
Frank Lampard scored from the spot after Alexei Smertin was fouled by Spurs captain Ledley King.
Jol said: "I thought it was a bit harsh, but the referee Graham Poll was very decisive and made his mind up. And I don't think that's only my view.
"Ledley felt he went for the ball and the lad was stamping on his foot."
Jol added: "I thought we deserved more. I felt in the first half-hour we were the better side and played some terrific football.
"But you are always worried against the top teams, but in the last third we weren't decisive enough. We lacked a cutting edge."
