Spurs striker Helder Postiga cost £6.25m this summer

Tottenham hope to raise £15m for transfers with a share offer.
The share offer, which will be underwritten in January by club owners Enic, will see the issue of 60,000 shares at £250 per share.
"The share offer will provide the club with more flexibility in the player trading market," said club chairman Daniel Levy.
Despite significant investment in the team over the summer, Spurs are
15th place in the Premiership.
The club were among the biggest spenders in the close season with then manager
Glenn Hoddle splashing out around £12m on Frederic Kanoute, Helder Postiga
and Bobby Zamora.
However, Hoddle was forced out after a poor start to the season with David
Pleat taking over as caretaker manager for the rest of the campaign.
The closing date for applications for the shares is 19 January, two days
before an extraordinary general meeting with dealing starting on 23 January.
