Kanoute has signed for Spurs

Tottenham have completed the £3.5m signing of Frederic Kanoute from West Ham.
The French striker passed a rigorous medical examination to become Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle's third summer signing.
He joins £6.25m Helder Postiga and £1.5m Bobby Zamora as Hoddle sharpens his strikeforce ahead of the new season.
West Ham have already secured £1m-rated winger Matthew Etherington from Spurs as part of the deal.
The former Peterborough and England Under-21 winger has agreed personal terms for a switch to Upton Park.
Kanoute, 26, was restricted to just 12 starts for West Ham and scored only five
goals in their failed bid to escape relegation last season.
But he showed no no lasting
effects from the groin injury which kept him out of action for four months last season and passed the medical to Spurs' satisfaction.
"Freddie will balance off nicely with the other strikers we have brought to
the club," said Hoddle.
"But he won't be my last signing. We've lost too many defenders to injuries
and we are stretched for midfielders too.
"It is worrying with the season just a couple of weeks away but we've just
got to get on with it and I'm still looking around."
Dean Richards, Spurs' £8.1m centre-back, started training on Monday after a long spell under treatment for an Achilles problem.
But his defensive partner
Ledley King is still out with ankle trouble and is unlikely to face Sporting Lisbon in the club's final pre-season test on Sunday.
