Clemence boost for Spurs
Spurs' Stephen Clemence is on his way back from injury
Clemence in rare first team action for Spurs
Stephen Clemence's year-long Tottenham injury nightmare will finally end on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old midfielder has suffered three major injuries over the last 12 months, with knee, groin and Achilles problems forcing him into the treatment room.

But his frustration will end at Dagenham & Redbridge's Victoria Road home, when Spurs reserves take on West Ham.

Clemence, a former White Hart Lane trainee and England Under-21 international, has been back in full training since the start of October.

Spurs reserves boss Colin Calderwood revealed: "Steve will be involved for the first time this season.

"He's completed a fortnight's training with the rest of the first team.

"He'll play for a period of the game and hopefully come through okay.

"Steve's been a Trojan in the gym. You just have your fingers crossed he can now have a sustained period of football," he told the club's official website.
