Torquay United's Chris Robertson and Eunan O'Kane have extended their contracts for a further two years.

Defender Robertson, 23, has been at Plainmoor for four seasons, whilst O'Kane moved to the club in January from Coleraine.

Torquay boss Paul Buckle said 19-year-old midfielder O'Kane was proving to be a good prospect for the club.

Buckle said: "Eunan has a real opportunity to progress and become an established player with Torquay."

"I'm delighted he has committed himself to the club and am sure he will prove a big positive for us."

Robertson, who has made 48 appearances for the Gulls this season at both centre and right back, is now one of Torquay's longest serving players.

And Buckle said the versatile defender, who has appeared in 117 games for the Gulls, could play an important role in helping the squad gel next season.

"Chris has served the club extremely well and has proved himself to be an integral member of the first team," said Buckle.

"We are building a young exciting team here and Chris will be a major part of that, I am thrilled that he is staying with us at Plainmoor and I'm sure he will impress."
