Buckle praises players' attitude

Paul Buckle is happy that his side kept their winning streak going

Torquay manager Paul Buckle says he was happy his players showed no signs of an FA Cup hangover as they beat Rushden % Diamonds 1-0 in the FA Trophy.

The week before, the Gulls beat Championship side Blackpool by the same scoreline in the FA Cup third round.

"It was always going to be difficult today after the brilliant atmosphere here last week and the standards we set," Buckle told BBC Radio Devon.

"But credit to the players, we got a clean sheet against a good side."

He added: "We're not always going to have it our own way, but the important thing is to keep going if you're not playing to your full potential."
