18-year-old Plummer has played for the England under-17 side
Torquay United have signed Bristol City youngster Tristan Plummer on loan until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old can play as a wide midfielder or a striker, and has represented England at under-17 level.
"This is a great chance to get games under my belt, gain experience, and hopefully help Torquay get back into the League," he told the club website.
Plummer goes straight into the Gulls squad for the FA Cup third round tie against Blackpool on Saturday.
Manager Paul Buckle added: "We have known about Tristan for a while, and being without Mustapha (Carayol) and Roscoe (Dsane) recently has shown the need to strengthen certain areas."
Plummer made five substitute appearances for Luton Town during a loan spell between August and November last year.
