Torquay United's on-loan goalkeeper Scott Bevan has been given permission by parent club Shrewsbury Town to extend his loan by a further month.
Bevan's initial month-long loan was due to end this weekend, but Torquay chief executive Colin Lee has managed to secure an extension.
Bevan, 29, has played five times since joining in September and has conceded three goals.
United's other on-loan keeper, Michael Poke, is still out with a thigh injury.
Shrewsbury manager Paul Simpson has agreed to the deal, but with a 24-hour recall clause.
Simpson is currently monitoring a thigh strain picked up by his own first-choice goalkeeper Luke Daniels.
