Torquay to sign keeper
Torquay hope to sign goalkeeper Jamie Attwell, who has impressed manager Leroy Rosenior during his trial period at the club.

Current Torquay goalkeeper Ryan Northmore has an injury and Rosenior is concerned about a lack of cover.

"It is important that the goalkeeping position is well covered and that we have a player who will keep Kevin Dearden on his toes and challenge for his number one position," Rosenior told the club's official website.

The player and his agent are now in talks with the club and Gulls chairman Mike Bateson is confident a deal will be done.

"Jamie is very keen to come here and I don't foresee any problems with his contract."
