Rosenoir succeeds McFarland
Roy McFarland said the Torquay job was the most difficult he has had
McFarland said he had a difficult job at Torquay
Torquay United have named Leroy Rosenior as their new manager.

He succeeds Roy MacFarland who resigned after he was told he would have to take a pay cut and that his assistant David Preece would have to leave the club due to the ITV Digital crisis.

The 38-year-old Rosenoir has decided to accept the job even though he will have to work with a squad of just 21 professionals, and without any assistant.

Since ending his playing days, Rosenior has had spells as coach at Bristol City and manager at Gloucester City and Merthyr Tydfill.

As a player some of Rosenoir's clubs included West Ham, QPR and Bristol City.
