Banger back in action
Nicky Banger, who left Plymouth Argyle earlier this season, is trying to resurrect his career at Torquay United.

Banger scored two goals in four starts and six substitute appearances while with the Pilgrims.

After his short-term contract expired, Banger hoped to start a week's training with Roy McFarland's squad in an attempt to win a contract.

He was due to arrive at Plainmoor a few weeks ago but was delayed because of a back injury which has now cleared.

Gulls boss Roy McFarland said: "He's going to spend a couple of weeks with us so we can have a good look at him."
