Telford extend Wilkinson loan
Telford have arranged to keep Stoke defender Andy Wilkinson at the Bucks Head for a further two months.

Wilkinson, 20, has so far made seven appearances for the Conference side.

"Andy will be with us for another two months, which is great news for the club and great news for him," said Telford boss Mick Jones.

"He has fitted in like a duck to water since he has been here and, even on Saturday when we didn't play that well as a team, he still stood out."

Jones told the Shropshire Star newspaper: "He is very mature for a young lad and has plenty of potential so it is excellent he has been given the chance to carry on developing here.

"I think they [Stoke] have realised that it will be far more beneficial for Andy to be playing first-team football in a tough league like the Conference rather than reserve-team football."
