Halifax have swooped to sign Jason Blunt after the midfielder was released by Tamworth.
Blunt moved quickly after his release by Tamworth
Blunt, 27, began his career at Leeds and returns to Yorkshire after spells with Doncaster and Scarborough.
Shaymens' boss Chris Wilder said: "jason is experienced in the Conference and is a decent move for us.
"We're very light in midfield at the moment, " said Wilder who failed in a bid to sign Scunthorpe midfielder Terry Barwick on loan.
