Swindon Town have signed young West Ham striker Frank Nouble on a month's loan.

The 18-year-old, who has played eight Premiership games for the Hammers, could come straight into the Robins' squad against Norwich on Saturday.

England Under-19 Nouble has also had a loan spell at Championship side West Bromwich Albion this season.

"I'm looking forward to the challenge. I'm not going to any League One side - we are looking for promotion," the Londoner told BBC Radio Wiltshire.

His move to the County Ground will allow the former Chelsea trainee to link up again with childhood friend Mark Marshall.

"We grew up in the same area. I know him well," Nouble said. "It's a good club to come to, with welcoming staff - a good family club."

The 6ft 3ins striker added: "It's all about getting experience here and playing well."
