Swindon clinch sponsorship deal

Nick Watkins
Watkins is excited by new sponsorship deal

Swindon Town have a new shirt sponsor after monthly football magazine Four Four Two agreed a three-year deal with the League One club.

The package means the Robins will feature extensively in the publication.

Chief executive Nick Watkins told BBC Radio Swindon he was excited about the new partnership.

"It is a unique deal, it has never happened in the game before and I think it puts Swindon Town football club in a new light," he said.

The club has also appointed a new fitness and conditioning coach.

David Morrison, a former Peterborough and Leyton Orient player, will start work later this month when the squad returns for pre-season training.
