Swindon Town have beaten off competition from Chesterfield to sign Leeds forward Jamie McMaster.
McMaster aims to impress at Swindon
The 21-year-old Australian was part of the Leeds team that struggled to beat the Robins in the second round of the Carling Cup last week.
That match was his first start for the Championship club, although he did score two goals in six games on loan at Chesterfield last season.
Spireites boss Roy McFarland had hoped to bring McMaster back to Saltergate.
McMaster told Swindon's club website: "I know a few of the players down here, which makes it a bit easier when you are coming into a place.
"When James Milner was here he came back to Leeds and spoke very highly of Swindon Town and said he really enjoyed his time here."
