Swansea boss Roberto Martinez says he is excited by a possible Johnstone's Paint Trophy final day out at Wembley.
League Two side MK Dons stand in their way in the two-legged southern area final starting at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday.
Martinez said: "We know there is a huge prize at the end of it and this is the last and probably hardest hurdle.
"You realise how close you are and how important it is to be really focused over the next two games."
The Spaniard tasted success as a player in the competition - formerly known as the Football League Trophy - in 2006 at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium when the Swans beat Carlisle United 2-1.
"We are excited to be playing in a game where you can enjoy the cup feeling without having the pressure that you have in the league," he said.
"It's a competition where we've played a lot of games and it's great in a way that it's the last home game of the competition and in that respect we are excited."
