Swansea defender Kevin Amankwaah has a more original reason than most for seeking promotion to the Championship.
Amankwaah had a troubled league debut for Swansea
The 24-year-old Londoner - signed from Yeovil in the summer for around £200,000 - qualifies for Ghana through his parents and wants a call-up.
"I have that dream, but I think they are only looking at Premiership and Championship players," he said.
Amankwaah made an unconvincing league debut in the 2-1 loss to Cheltenham and was at fault for the second goal.
He played at right-back in place of the suspended Alan Tate, although the latter is available for Tuesday's visit to Scunthorpe.
"I intend to play my own game and just see where it takes me," said Amankwaah, who can also play centre-back.
"If Swansea make it to the Championship next season there is every chance of getting noticed by Ghana."
