Trundle hit with new injury worry
Swansea City striker Lee Trundle
Swansea striker Lee Trundle has been hit with another injury setback just two games into his comeback from a hamstring problem.

Trundle, who was out for three weeks in January with ankle trouble, limped off with a hip injury on Saturday after scoring the winner against Forest.

"It's been a frustrating time and the last thing I want to do is miss more game," Trundle told BBC Wales Sport.

"My hip has been tight for a while, but I hope it's nothing serious."

Trundle, who took his tally to 18 goals for the season at the City Ground, believes the problem is connected to his hamstring injury.

He says he "felt something" go as he put Swansea 2-1 ahead with an exquisite curler and was replaced by Leon Knight two minutes later.

Swansea had already lost defenders Steven Watt (dislocated shoulder) and Izzy Iriekpen (twisted knee) which could leave manager Kenny Jackett with just one fit centre-back for Tuesday's visit of Bradford City.

Trundle, though, believes the side will be full of confidence after digging deep to beat Forest.

"I look at this win as a turning point for us," he added. "This is for us to push on in the league now.

"Forest have got one of the best home records in the league and to come away with the points is brilliant."
