Swansea boss Kenny Jackett has taken QPR midfielder Marcus Bean on loan for a second time.
The 20-year-old was with the Swans for two months last season and Jackett wants him back as Kristian O'Leary and Owain Tudur Jones are out injured.
Jackett made his move when Thursday's emergency loan window opened.
"We're short in the midfield department so Marcus has come in. He's a very athletic players with a lot to offer Swansea," Jackett told BBC Wales Sport.
"It's initially a reaction to the injuries but also to the amount of games we have.
"We've got seven games in four weeks so we need a squad capable of handling that."
